Function began as a promotion wallpaper for a now-defunct domain. I'd been turning more and more to vectors, seeing their obvious flexibility and speed advantages over huge and unwieldy bitmaps. I hadn't quite escaped, though, as are still plenty of raw pixels sharing this image with splines.
